You can furnish your room with personal items such as pictures, books and ornaments to make it your own.
The Home has extensive grounds including sheltered courtyards, an on-site beach and a sensory garden designed to stimulate all five senses with different smells, sounds and textures.
A hair dressing salon is available for those who fancy a haircut and the on-site shop is perfect to top up on small personal items. The Home also runs a bar where residents can enjoy their favourite tipple.
Enjoy good food and drink
Food and drink is an important part of our lives and we aim to make it an enjoyable experience in all of our care homes.
Albert Edward Prince of Wales Court has a fully serviced kitchen with on-site chefs and catering staff. They use fresh produce to create appetising and healthy meals to help you maintain a balanced diet.
All of our menus offer a choice of meals and we encourage you to contribute your ideas. Special menus can also be produced for social occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries, including the odd BBQ and take-aways.
Wine is available during meals and tea, coffee, juices and other soft drinks are always available throughout the day.

We will support you with your own personal interests and hobbies, whether that is reading, bird watching, gardening or trying something completely new.
You can also take part in trips outside of the Home, as well as social events, entertainment evenings, film shows and talks.
Regular church services are also held at the Home or you can attend a church of your own choice in the local community.
